Westside’s Economic Development is an organization of business owners and private citizens who work together to bring viable economic growth to the town. This growth includes new businesses, new construction and helping businesses expand.

WEDO meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Wednesday of the month, at 12:00pm at The Diner. They are open to the public.

WEDO is currently involved in its third building project. They recently have built one single-family house and two condominium units which have been sold and are occupied. They currently have a 1260 square foot home under construction at 319 Cedar Street. This home, which features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a custom kitchen with a breadfast bar, is for sale. More information can be obtained by contacting any member of the building committee. The ranch style design allows entry from the front door as well as the garage with no steps. The main floor also incorporates laundry facilities, large closets, and handicap dimensions throughout. The completion date is set for November 15, 2005.
